  Before I even begin to review this 'weapon of critical information', I urge you not only to buy it but when you've finished reading it (it's real short, so it shouldn't overly tax our attention-deficit culture), post it to your MP, Congressman, Senator, the UN, your vicar/priest/imam/holy man/rabbi; give it to your neighbour, teacher, workmate, brother, sister, mum and dad. In short, shout it out from the rooftops; that the US government is an international criminal of staggering proportions and the entire Bush administration should be indicted as war criminals and every last one locked up and the key thrown away.

This is very valuable paper because it shows how influential people and countries are using the terrorist threat to advance their ambitions to make nuclear weapons.
Also, it gives an insight into the origins of American neoconservatism and its American author Leo Strauss, whose mentor was Carl Schmitt, an infamous Nazi law professor under Hitler. Leo Strauss teachings reflected those of his Nazi mentor, and his US students are now highly placed and very influential in formulating American policies under President Bush.

Remember the Nazis had their law professors too. Carl Schmitt was the most  notorious Nazi Law Professor. He was mentor to and sponsor for Leo Strauss,  who founded the Neo-Conservative Movement in the United States. These Neo-Cons are Neo-Nazis. A former top German official said yesterday that his country should consider building a nuclear arsenal in response to the threat of nuclear terrorism, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported today.

Professor Boyle is particularly well qualified to present the legal case against nuclear weapons and their potential usage. His qualifications also apply to bioweapons, and his book on this subject is reviewed on this site. His arguments and the list of his qualifications a great asset to anyone considering the illegality of nuclear and biological weapons and related issues.

Neocon Foreign Policy Architect Richard Perle reveals US War Plans in the Iranian Theater
One US carrier task force is already in position in the Persian Gulf. Two more task forces are moving swiftly to take up their positions in the Iranian theatre....
While Perle stated his hope that the need for military interventions would be minimal, he left the impression that his definition of excessive use of military power might well differ from that of the average American or European citizen. Perle is on the public record advocating pre-emptive strikes against North Korea, Syria, Iran and a list of other countries. Some of his critics accuse Perle of darkly malignant machinations. (Richard N. The International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA), which continues to inspect Iran nuclear facilities under the terms of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and makes regular reports to the UN on their findings, says there is no evidence that Iran has nuclear arms or preparations to make nuclear arms. The following article says the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) reports a similar finding.
Yet the Bush Administration and Israel claim Iran is a nuclear threat and must be stopped. They constantly threaten to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities even threatening to use nuclear weapons against Iran to stop Iran from making nuclear weapons.

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has not found conclusive evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons, a US magazine has reported.

Although the following article was written 3 years ago, its message is still powerful and relevant today. Most people passively tolerate the systematic poisoning of people, their lands and the world. However DU poisoning lasts for eternity. It drifts around the planet, killing, deforming and genetically damaging everyone's children and descendants forever, whether in Washington, New York or Kabul. Psychopaths in the Pentagon deny, deny, deny and then smirk like George Bush. They are doing their professional duty. People accept that and forget. How long can the human race survive when we, so casually, resort to such widespread killing and torture?

....This will not be easy to read, especially if you've projected evil out of your own heart, into some cave in Afghanistan or a spider hole in Iraq, and reduced the age-old question it inspires to this one: How can we bomb it off the face of the earth?

The article also claims Iran wants the U.S. to make a limited attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, as this would allegedly boost Iranian prestige in the Middle East. I don't agree with this hypothesis or that the U.S. attack would be, or remain, limited. I think the U.S. wants regime change and will make a massive attack on Iran, it's population and infrastructure - much like what it has done in Iraq, only worse. I think it's real objective is a much wider war, against the Islamic world in general. Ultimately it's objective is to dominate the Middle East, particularly oil. Like the views expressed in many other articles, I think the Bush Administration plans to use nuclear weapons on Iran, and that the conflict will escalate into a terminal global disaster.

Too lazy to go over and read Sy Hersh's latest bombshell on the machinations for war with Iran at The New Yorker? Here are the juicy bits.
First off, Hersh confirms what  Ray McGovern warned of two weeks ago: don't start celebrating yet over Donald Rumsfeld's replacement, Bob Gates:
Other sources close to the Bush family said that the machinations behind Rumsfeld's resignation and the Gates nomination were complex, and the seeming triumph of the Old Guard may be illusory...
.....The bit that is making the headlines is what comes next. Hersh says that the CIA doesn't even think Iran has a secret nuclear weapons program, but that Cheney and his team don't care:

....The U.S. Democrats who have just won in Congress and the Senate are unlikely to stop this war as they are deeply involved in approving the Iraq war, and either repeating or not questioning Bush lies to justify it. They are doing the same thing about the new U.S. enemy - Iran . They have also approved Bush's new nuclear doctrines, his patriot laws, his preparations for the Iran war and given him virtually unlimited power. The Democrats have proved themselves to be a weak, lily-livered and wishy-washy opposition party unwilling and unable to speak the truth about the Bush Administration and the illegal wars. There are a few exceptional and honest Democratic politicians who oppose U.S. war policies, but not enough to make much difference.

In mid 1970s the American Power Elite drew a “Grand Plan” to control and to monopolize global oil and nuclear energy resources, for he who controls energy resources determines the fate of nations. The base of this “Grand Plan” is the invasion of energy rich countries to directly control their resources, and to create subservient governments that would exploit their own people as cheap labor to harvest energy for the United States.

Is the Bush Administration Planning a Nuclear Holocaust?

Will the US launch "Mini-nukes" against Iran in Retaliation for Tehran's "Non-compliance"?
At no point since the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, has humanity been closer to the unthinkable, a nuclear holocaust which could potentially spread, in terms of radioactive fallout,  over a large part of the Middle East.
All the safeguards of the Cold War era, which categorized the nuclear bomb as "a weapon of last resort" have been scrapped. "Offensive" military actions using nuclear warheads are now described as acts of "self-defense".

Although the following article is 6 months old, I felt it should be posted on our web site because it is so thorough and well-researched.
This any many other articles show there is little doubt that key Bush Administration people want to hit Iran, and reject any objections to using nuclear weapons against Iran.
Any attack on Iran would be so much against U.S. present and future interests, the Administration would have to construct an utterly false but very convincing case for such an action. They did just that for their war on Iraq and the Democrats bought it, in spite of its glaring lies. Iraq may be a quagmire, but the ruse succeeded. Their success with the Iraq deception is likely to embolden them to enact a much larger crime against Iran.
White house decisions are made by extremists with fanatical belief systems that allow them to discount national U.S. considerations. Also, one has to calculate what kind of person calculates the killing of thousands of other human beings and risks far wider war, even nuclear war, for no real reason - other than some kind of fanatical beliefs that defy reason?

Mind Games Over Iran

Three years after the fall of Baghdad to U.S. forces, Washington is abuzz about new reports that the administration of President George W. Bush is preparing to attack Iran, possibly with nuclear weapons.
In just the past few days, lengthy articles detailing planning for aerial attacks on as many as 400 nuclear and military targets have appeared in The Washington Post , the London Sunday Times , The Forward (the main weekly of the U.S. Jewish community) and The New Yorker.
The New Yorker account, written by legendary investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, who two years ago was the first to disclose U.S. abuses of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison, was the most spectacular, although it relied heavily on unnamed sources outside the administration.

It is likely Bush regime lunatics will soon start what may expand to be Humanity's final war - a war on Iran . They will likely stage a "False Flag" attack on the U.S. and blame Iran . People have been conditioned to hate and fear Iran and believe lies that support and deepen that hate. Proofs to the contrary are simply dismissed as pro-Iranian or pro-terrorist propaganda.

Bush Signs New Policy Edict Calling For U.S. Control of Space:

The World is Not Enough, So Now U.S. Intends To Usurp Space
After US President George W. Bush signed away more basic human rights through his draconian Military Commissions Act Of 2006, he moved on this week to signing another unbelievable law: this time claiming outer space for the US, to be enforced by a new military service, the "U.S. Space Forces." And once again, his notion of US "diplomacy" is to order other nations to support this hegemonic US policy, or else.

. . . For example they could;
1.  accept an offer of enriched uranium from another source, to allay the false and groundless suspicions the U.S. has engendered in the world community.
2. They could offer to allow more inspections of Iran by the international community, in order to show that everything Iran had said was true.
3. Another even more dramatic policy step would be for Iran to announce it will officially recognise the reality of Israel's continued existence and will work with all nations to make a peaceful, secure middle east etc.

Does Bush Think War with Iran Is Preordained?

The aircraft carrier Eisenhower, accompanied by the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio, guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage, guided-missile destroyer USS Mason and the fast-attack submarine USS Newport News, is, as I write, making its way to the Straits of Hormuz off Iran. The ships will be in place to strike Iran by the end of the month. It may be a bluff. It may be a feint. It may be a simple show of American power. But I doubt it.

It took 6 years of relentless threats, sanctions and belligerence, but Bush finally succeeded in pushing Kim Jong-Il to build North Korea's first nuclear bomb. Now, Kim can just add a few finishing touches to his ballistic-missile delivery system, the Taepo-dong ICBM, and he'll be able to wipe out the 9 western states with a flip of the switch.

Wars and propaganda machines

Propaganda machines are dangerous, even more so in a democracy than in a totalitarian regime, because their goal is to confuse, disinform, lie, raise fear and manipulate the opinions of the people.

North Korea has repeatedly agreed to junk its nuclear weapons provided the US does three things:
1. deal directly with Pyongyang, which Washington refuses to do;
2. provide security guarantees that the US will not attack North Korea;
3. provide economic aid. The Bush Administration's hard-line neoconservatives refuse to 'validate' North Korea's totalitarian regime through direct talks. Neocons are determined to overthrow Kim Jong-il.t

Ex-U.S. Senator Gary   Hart claims Bush will launch "a preemptive war against Iran " this month before the November Congressional elections in the U.S.
The present predictions are that the Democrats would win enough seats to take control of the House, thus upsetting the Republican majority and perhaps preventing the more extreme war plans of the Bush Administration. The Bush neoconservative regime is determined to prevent that and reverse public opinion so that the Republicans will retain control. 
Will the Bush Administration rely only on lies and false propaganda, as Gary Hart's article implies, to justify preemptive war against Iran?
Or will Bush stage a 'False Flag' so-called 'terrorist attack' on the U.S. and blame Iran , in order to justify the use of nuclear weapons?

The October Surprise

It should come as no surprise if the Bush Administration undertakes a preemptive war against Iran sometime before the November election.
Were these more normal times, this would be a stunning possibility, quickly dismissed by thoughtful people as dangerous, unprovoked, and out of keeping with our national character. But we do not live in normal times.
And we do not have a government much concerned with our national character. If anything, our current Administration is out to remake our national character into something it has never been.

Here is a dire warning from one of the best commentators on US policy, that Bush will nuclear bomb Iran. Read it and draw your own conclusions. If you agree the situation is extremely dangerous, then please forward it as widely as possible.

Why Bush Will Nuke Iran

The neoconservative Bush administration will attack Iran with tactical nuclear weapons, because it is the only way the neocons believe they can rescue their goal of US (and Israeli) hegemony in the Middle East.
The US has lost the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan. Generals in both war theaters are stating their need for more troops. But there are no troops to send.

Depleted Uranium is WMD

My grandfather, U.S. Army Col. Edwin Joseph McAllister, was born in Battle Creek in 1895. He does not know that his first grandchild is an international expert on depleted uranium. I have worked in two U.S. nuclear weapons laboratories, and in 1991 I became a whistleblower at the Livermore lab. Depleted uranium is very, very, very nasty stuff:

He says so in the Bible according to millions of Fundamentalist Christian Americans who are looking forward to the 'End Times'. George Bush is their hero. And their numbers are growing every day. Craziness and the 'culture of paranoid nuttiness' are contagious. ...

But Bush administration policy toward the Middle East is being run by men, yes, only men who were routinely referred to in high circles in Washington during the 1980s as "the crazies." I can attest to that personally, but one need not take my word for it. According to James Naughtie, author of The Accidental American: Tony Blair and the Presidency , former Secretary of State Colin Powell added an old soldier's adjective to the "crazies" sobriquet in referring to the same officials. Powell, who was military aide to Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger in the early 80s, was overheard calling them "the f -ing crazies" during a phone call with British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw before the war in Iraq. At the time, Powell was reportedly deeply concerned over their determination to attack with or without UN approval. Small wonder that they got rid of Powell after the election, as soon as they had no more use for him.

He reveals how the U.S. conspired to ensure that the very successful UN inspection and disarmament efforts were torpedoed, so that the U.S. and UK could engage in mass bombing of Iraq's non-existent weapons-of-mass destruction, crippling sanctions that killed thousands of Iraqi children, and eventually, war based on lies. It is a very, very revealing talk that helps one really understand the continuing deceit practiced by the U.S. and UK governments on their own people about Iraq, Iran and middle-east affairs during the preceding decades. He also has many revealing insights and advice to peace activists.

"I wish we were here to talk about how good things are happening in the cause of peace, how congress has reversed course and they're bringing our boys and girls home, how the Bush administration has woke up suddenly and said, ‘you know, this concept of global domination through the unilateral application of military force is not sound policy,' and the Democrats woke up for the first time in a long time and said, ‘you know, we facilitated this war in Iraq. We're as much to blame as George W. Bush.' But that's not the case. We live in a time where bad things are happening. .."

Since 1945, nuclear weapons have been considered a threat to humanities future. Intensive publicity on this theme, as well as much anti-nuclear campaigning has taken place around the world for the last 60 years. Diplomats have spent endless hours working on nuclear arms control treaties with eventual nuclear weapons abolition clauses. Why? Would this have been necessary if nuclear weapons were not so dangerous?

The scientists who crack open the nation's nuclear weapons for a living are never quite sure what they will find inside.
Many of the warheads were designed and built 40 years ago, and their plutonium and other components are slowly breaking down in ways that researchers do not fully understand. With no new bombs in production, the government spends billions of dollars each year tending to its aging stockpile.

Will the American public see the looming abyss before it's too late

George Orwell, Novelist or Prophet?

GEORGE Orwell wrote his book, 1984, in the 1940's. The year, 1984, was a long way off then, but what he foresaw as a possibility seemed much closer. We approached it during the McCarthy years in the fifties, but sanity reasserted itself.
When Nixon came to power, it looked like Orwell's fears might come to pass, but Nixon and his cronies overreached themselves and we were saved again. Reagan and Bush I came fairly close also. They refined a lot of the techniques, but the time was not right. It is beginning to look like the Regime of Bush II might turn Orwell from a novelist into a prophet.

Professor Andrew Bacevich, graduate of WestPoint and the Vietnam war is Director of the Center for International Relations at Boston University. He shows how America has spread it's control around the world with "hundred and hundreds of military bases, large and small" and that today "...planning, preparing, and waging war has become the normal state and seemingly permanent condition of the United States" 
America needs enemies to feed its "military/industrial complex" which has become a threat to the continuation of the United States as Americans know and love it. President Dwight Eisenhower warned Americans about this as he left  office in 1960.

We are now in an America where it's a commonplace for our President, wearing a "jacket with ARMY printed over his heart and 'Commander in Chief' printed on his right front," to address vast assemblages of American troops on the virtues of bringing democracy to foreign lands at the point of a missile. As Jim VandeHei of the Washington Post puts it: "Increasingly, the president uses speeches to troops to praise American ideals and send a signal to other nations the administration is targeting for democratic change."

....The so-called peace talks with Iran may only be a cover for diabolically evil U.S. strategies to achieve their war. The main strategy seems to be the staging of a sudden allegedly " terrorist act" against the U.S. which the U.S. will blame on Iran, and then use to justify a massive assault on Iran.....

Atomic programme not for military - Iran

Iran's nuclear programme is peaceful and has no military purpose, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on today, adding he was ready to engage in dialogue with anybody.
"It has nothing to do with nuclear weapons, or military purposes," he said during a visit to Indonesia. He was speaking in an interview broadcast live on local Metro television.

The latest information I have had from the followers of der Bush is that he has demanded and received permission to use nuclear "bunker busters" in Iran in a preemptive strike. As a nuclear veteran (Operation Redwing, Bikini, 1956) I can affirm that this is absolute madness. The "bunker buster" is a cute sounding name for a nuclear horror. Air bursts are horrible enough, doing incredible destruction through heat, shock and high initial radiation. The fallout from an air burst is registered around the world. A surface or subsurface burst is even deadlier and more long lasting.

The President of Iran has reached out to President Bush offering a dialogue of peace instead of preparations for war. My hope is that President Bush will choose to talk, and pull back from starting an escalating war with Iran that could suddenly become nuclear and end the human race. Why on earth would he do that?

For sometime now I have been thinking, how one can justify the undeniable contradictions that exist in the international arena -- which are being constantly debated, specially in political forums and amongst university students. Many questions remain unanswered. These have prompted me to discuss some of the contradictions and questions, in the hopes that it might bring about an opportunity to redress them.

Scott Ritter gives a detailed account of U.S. preparations and plans to strike at Iran before June/05. Obviously this has been postponed for unknown reasons. As Iran will retaliate against U.S. attack, the situation could very easily escalate and involve China and Russia. A sudden global nuclear exchange could result. It's so obvious, why is Europe so compliant and people so passive and silent in the face of global nuclear disaster which would kill and maim billions?

Late last year, in the aftermath of the 2004 Presidential election, I was contacted by someone close to the Bush administration about the situation in Iraq.
There was a growing concern inside the Bush administration, this source said, about the direction the occupation was going.

Chris Floyd has written a very powerful, well-documented 2 page article on the hell that Bush and his cohorts intend to unleash on Iran and the number of people he decides must die - 1,000,000. How many more will be wounded, maimed, blinded, burned, radiated, slowly dieing of their untreated wounds.
The madmen have been ruling America since 2,000. Iraq showed what they could do - they started a war based on lies. Not only did they get away with it, the Bushcons cheated their way into power again in 2004. Now they are ready, and with a few words and decisions, can inflict mass genocide in Iran. Bush has the power to destroy the world many times over. It's very possible this will happen if the nuclear slaughter in Iran triggers an expanding holocaust.

Washington's political timetable may turn harsh rhetoric into military escalation, unless voices of restraint in both the United States and Iran can prevail.

Top U.S. physicists say " U.S. plans to reportedly use nuclear weapons against Iran were "gravely irresponsible" and warning that such action would have "disastrous consequence for the security of the United States and the world". Last fall 1,800 U.S. physicists repudiated new U.S. nuclear policies that include pre-emptive use of nuclear weapons against others. They said the Hiroshima bomb killed 100,000 people. Today the world's nuclear arsenals have 200,000 times the explosive force of the Hiroshima bomb - enough to kill the world's entire population many times over.

Call Nuclear Weapons Against Iran ‘Gravely Irresponsible’ Thirteen of the nation’s most prominent physicists have written a letter to President Bush, calling U.S. plans to reportedly use nuclear weapons against Iran “gravely irresponsible” and warning that such action would have “disastrous consequences for the security of the United States and the world.”

The world avoided nuclear catastrophe during the cold war, but the era's real history has an ominous lesson for the period of "war on terror".

Now they are planning to do it again to justify a war with Iran.

This ties in with other papers warning about a U.S. - generated war on Iran starting about this time.
The decision to develop the mythology of a biological warfare threat from Iran, is because a U.S.-alleged lie that Iran is a nuclear threat had lost all credibility. It was a cunning step and more difficult to expose that the phoney nuclear threat.

Nobel Laureates and other prominent figures petitioned the U.S. Congress not to nuclear bomb Iran "regardless of whether Iran is in any way involved in an attack on the U.S." This plan is very much like the Pentagon's "Operation Northwoods" to blame and then bomb and invade Cuba in 1962, after a faked attack on the U.S. using U.S. covert action.
Petitioners were appalled at the Bush-Pentagon plan, which was justified with their Nuclear Posture Review, Dec 2001, and Doctrine for Joint Nuclear Operations, March 15, 2005 to "use nuclear weapons as a tool in warfare like any other".

In an August 2005 issue of The American Conservative, former CIA officer Philip Girarldi raised the alarm over in-process Pentagon contingency plans drafted in preparation for another terrorist attack in the United States. The response includes a plan for a massive air assault on Iran with the use of both conventional and tactical nuclear weapons regardless of whether Iran is any way involved in such an attack against the U.S.
One month after the publication of Giraldli's warnings, physicists from around the world, including numerous Nobel laureates and prominent figures, signed a petition expressing their dismay at seeing the architects of Bush administration policy embrace the use of nuclear weapons as a tool in warfare like any other. The new US policy to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear countries has been officially formulated in two US government documents Nuclear Posture Review delivered to Congress in December 2001 and Doctrine for Joint Nuclear Operations dated March 15, 2005.
